My name is Werner van Schalkwyk, I am the Principal Director at Fine & Country JHB North West (South Africa). I have been in the property industry for over 30 years, covering the Roodepoort and Randburg property markets. I've been a Roodepoort resident for almost 45 years, living with my wife and our young son and daughter. Away from work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, traveling and exploring the world's beautiful sights. I bring a wealth of property experience and knowledge to Fine & Country. Some of my key strengths are my work ethic, innovative thinking, and enthusiasm which allowed me to grow our office’s reputation and market share since 2016 when I acquired the Fine & Country JHB North West Licence with my business partner Francois du Pisani. My passion for property, and specifically exceptional property services, runs deep; I mentor a number of property practitioners, serving as a mentor to guide them through their careers and become successful. Through meticulous attention to detail and a tireless work ethic ensuring deals progress seamlessly from start to finish. My “why” is very simple; to provide, and continue to develop a world-class estate agency service. We do this by questioning what came before and always searching to find a better way forward. My team and I are driven to achieve and maintain property presentation excellence. We are very proud that our hard work has been recognized and rewarded with multiple awards at Fine & Country SA Property Awards for two consecutive years for 1st Pace in Sales Units in 2020 and again in 2021. We have also won the award for Best Property Presentation in 2018 and our team of agents regularly features in the National Top 20 Sales Agents.
